Community visits Oakwood Court on Open Day | News from Oakwood Court

Our Open Day on Saturday 29 November at Oakwood Court care home in Haywards Heath showcased the warmth, homeliness and professionalism at the heart of our not for profit home.

Guests were greeted by our friendly team, who chatted and gave guided tours throughout the day. Visitors explored our new facilities including our bright communal lounges, thoughtfully designed bedrooms, and spa bathroom - they discovered the comfortable and supportive environment we provide to residents.

One of the key highlights for visitors is our thoughtful interior design. Claire, a guest at the event, said: “I love the different themed seating areas at the end of each corridor which helps navigation, and the pictures and items are great conversation starters.” She added: “All the staff were so welcoming, friendly and smiley.”

Another visitor, Alan, expressed his delight simply: “I’m flabbergasted.”

Guests also praised the refreshments on offer, with many complimenting the homemade treats.
