5* awarded to Woodlands care home catering team
Congratulations to the catering team at Woodlands Care Home in Crowborough who have achieved a well deserved level 5 food and hygiene score following a recent environmental health inspection.
Stuart, Chef Manager is delighted, he said: “I’m proud to say we passed our surprise Environmental Health Officer (EHO) visit yesterday. I’m even more proud as I was not in yesterday and my team acted professionally with assisting the visit and sustaining our 5 star status.
"It just shows that with good training and communication we are working well as a team, and it is a team effort every time. I don’t take credit for that as it's down to us all to keep safe, clean, and legal in the kitchen (in truth I was never in any doubt we would not pass as my team is awesome!). Well done team Woodlands.”
