Celebrating Volunteers’ Week
This week, we’re proud to celebrate Volunteers’ Week across Sussex Housing & Care – a special time to recognise the incredible people who give their time, energy and kindness to support our residents.
From school students and residents living in our housing schemes, to families and members of the local community, our volunteers make a real difference every single day. Whether it’s sharing a conversation, helping with activities or even doing a spot of gardening, their impact is truly invaluable.
Across our care homes in Haywards Heath, Battle and Crowborough, we’ve been marking the occasion with some lovely celebrations this week – including cream teas, pamper sessions and entertainment – as a small way of saying a huge thank you for everything they do.
