Join us for national care home open week 2025!

We are supporting National Care Home Open week, with FREE activities for residents, families, visitors and the local community to enjoy. The mission of the week is to connect care home residents with their local community.

All of our events are free and we'll be serving our Chef's complimentary finest home made cakes and refreshments. We welcome you to let us know you're coming, so just give us a ring or drop us an email — please see the contact details below.

Shapes of card wrapped with colourful wool and placed together as a collage

At each of our care homes in Battle, Crowborough and Haywards Heath we will enjoy a ‘Time Together’ session where students from local schools, along with residents and their families, will take part in an intergenerational workshop led by professional artists. We will create small pieces of abstract art using wool, which will all come together into a number of framed collages. It's something everyone can get involved with, no matter your age, so please do come and join in!

The events start at 10.15am and end at 12 noon.

Tuesday 17th June - Woodlands care home, Crowborough
Wednesday 18th June - Saxonwood care home, Battle
Friday 20th June - Oakwood Court care home, Haywards Heath
