Lest we forget

From poppy shapes to painting, glitter and colouring - residents at Woodlands care home in Crowborough have been getting creative this last week to commemorate Armistice Day. Their dining room resembles a field of poppies with their striking art displayed around the walls and the beautiful painted stones are now the dining table centre pieces.

Throughout this activity, led by Julia our dedicated Activities Co-ordinator at Woodlands, residents got together and not only enjoyed the social fun and creativity, they also began sharing their vibrant memories and poignant war time stories.
