Mental Health Awareness Week

This week is Mental Health awareness week on the topic of kindness.

Being kind is not only nice for other people but it can make you feel good too by helping to reduce stress and improve your emotional wellbeing.

As an organisation we feel it is important we keep talking about mental health, and have invested in training a number of staff as Mental Health First Aid Champions who can help residents and other members of staff if they need someone to talk to, or are feeling anxious or worried.

You can help support #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek by carrying out or reflecting on an act of kindness. a photo or
video (with permission!) and use the hashtags #KindnessMatters and #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek. You can also share your ideas on how you think we could build a kinder society that would support our mental health using the same hashtags above.
