We're delighted to share Oakwood Court in Haywards Heath has been awarded ‘Highly Commended’ in the National Activity Providers Association (NAPA) Arts in Care Homes competition for our Arts in Care Homes Day celebrations.
As part of this year's theme, "Stories that connect us", residents, local school children and professional artists came together to create nature-inspired woodland walks through leaf printing, storytelling and shared conversations about nature, memories, sustainability and the changing seasons. Students from Bolnore Village Primary and Holy Trinity Primary worked alongside residents, helping to create beautiful artworks while building meaningful intergenerational connections.

The project demonstrated the powerful impact of creativity in care settings, supporting wellbeing, self-expression and social connection, while creating lasting memories for everyone involved.
We are incredibly proud of our residents, colleagues, school partners and The Painted Ladies for helping make the week such a success. 💚🎨🍂
