Nora celebrates 104th birthday at Woodlands!
It's been a big day for Nora at Woodlands Care Home in Crowborough, who has celebrated her incredible 104th birthday.
Our chefs baked a special cake for everyone to enjoy and Nora had some fun birthday decorations, as well as a rendition of happy birthday sung by our Alexa and visits from both of her sons in our safe indoor visitor’s room.
Nora, who has lived at Woodlands for five years, said: “I have my family and that’s all that matters, they bring great joy to me. I have 8 great grandchildren and the eldest is 24, I enjoy watching them grow up. I’m lucky to have survived this far, sometimes life has been hard work but I’ve also had a very good life. The staff have been very kind celebrating today with me.”
Some of Nora’s favourite interests have been watching British wrestling and being a fanatical Brighton Football Club fan – she even got to experience the VIP box at a match.
