Our teams are all going the extra mile to make sure our care home residents are keeping safe and busy, and are having fun. We are excited to congratulate three members of staff with our ACE award for Achieving Customer Excellence.
These team members received votes from residents, relatives or colleagues in our care homes for their dedication and commitment to Sussex Housing & Care and to brightening our residents’ lives. Well done to everyone who won the ACE award, and thank you to all our teams for everything you’re doing.
Jade Allcorn, Activities Co-ordinator at Saxonwood Care Home, Battle
Jade is ACE because she keeps residents active with her array of activities. Jade has hairdressing experience and when she found out during lockdown that the hairdressers weren’t allowed to visit the care home, she quickly turned her hand to styling residents’ hair and put some big smiles on residents’ faces. 'Jade’s salon', as the residents' called it, was open throughout lockdown and she did a fantastic job.
