We have two properties currently available for social rent, in Mayfield and Crowborough and we're looking for new residents who will benefit from our service:

 

St Thomas of Canterbury Court in Mayfield, East Sussex

We have a studio flat available for social rent in the beautiful village of Mayfield. The lower ground floor flat at St Thomas of Canterbury Court is newly refurbished and has access to a communal spaces, gardens and car park.

The weekly rent including service charge is £141.21.

The Rowans in Crowborough, East Sussex

We have a two bedroom flat available for social rent at The Rowans in Crowborough. This ground floor flat, built in 2011, is modern and well presented, and accessible for wheelchair users. There is access to a patio area from the lounge as well as communal spaces, gardens and car park. The weekly rent including service charge, heating and water is £182.25.

Why live in a Sussex Housing & Care property?

We are a pet friendly, not-for-profit housing association and you would benefit from an assured tenancy and a scheme manger service, as well as a 24 hour lifeline system and living in a friendly community near to the village or town centre and close to a bus route.

Are you eligible?

  • You need to be 60 years old and over.
  • You have less than £60,000 in savings and investments.
  • You do not own or have interest in any other property.
  • You must have a local connection to the Local Authority area. You need to have lived in the area for three out of the past five years or have a family member (parent; adult children or brothers or sisters including corresponding step relationships) who has resided in the area for the past two continuous years.
