Job Description

We are currently seeking a part time administrator to work as part of our amazing team in our residential care home in Battle. The successful applicant must have at least two years experience in an administrative role, have excellent communication skills and be competent in Mircosoft Word and Excel.

Main responsibility include:

  • Being the first point of contact at the home for all visitors whilst undertaking general administration duties including responding to all enquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Assisting the Home Manager in marketing the home to potential residents and their families.  Showing prospective new clients around and dispatching brochures when required
  • Assisting with recruitment process, arranging interviews, sending job descriptions and application forms to potential applicants
  • Submitting DBS applications for new and existing staff
  • Completing and ensuring that the Home payroll is accurately and comprehensively completed within set timescales
  • Processing invoices and keeping accurate budget records of expenditure in the home.  Supporting the home manager in planning expenditure and spending the budget proportionately throughout the year

Candidate Requirements

  • Good numeracy skills.
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
  • The ability to prioritise and work under own initiative.
  • Assist in maintaining a homely environment for the residents ensuring the residents are safeguarded from any form of abuse
  • Maintain positive attitude and considerate approach to residents, their families and other visitors to the Home.

Employment Details

  • Employment Type: Permanent
  • Hours: 30 hours
  • Pay: £21,423.62 Annually

Additional Information

The role is a permanent position working 30 hours per week over five days, 9am — 3pm
