Job Description
We are currently looking for a cook to join our friendly team, whose values reflect ours.

You’ll be part of our friendly, positive and supportive team delivering great food to our residents at Saxonwood Care Home.
Your role will include:
- Being part of a team providing great food that residents look forward to
- Being aware of and complying with all regulations concerning hygiene, allergens, health and safety of staff, food and equipment and kitchen practices
- Supervising kitchen General Assistants, ensuring their allocated duties are carried out
- Making sure the kitchen is kept clean and that kitchen stock is secure.
- Ensuring a high standard of service to our residents and being able to adjust routines to meet their needs wherever possible
- Gaining feedback from residents to plan future menus
Candidate Requirements
City and Guilds 706/1/2 in Catering Management (or equivalent) qualification or at least 2 years' relevant experience in related field.

Additional Information
Hourly rate from 1st April is £14.31.
