Job Description
We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Care Home Manager to lead our dementia-friendly 39 bed care home for older people in Crowborough. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a well-supported, resident-focused environment.
As the manager of Woodlands, part of a respected not-for-profit housing association, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
What you’ll do

Lead, manage and support a dedicated team

Ensure residents receive outstanding person-centred care

Maintain compliance with CQC and other regulatory bodies

Foster a positive, inclusive culture for staff and residents

Manage budgets, staffing, and operational performance

Proven experience managing a care home, ideally with dementia care

Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience managing a care home, ideally with dementia care (at least 2 years experience in a similar role)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of care regulations and standards
- A commitment to quality, dignity, and resident wellbeing
Employment Details
- Employment Type: Permanent
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Pay: £44,000 - £49,000 (depending on experience) Annually
