Main Responsibilities:

working in designated areas as prescribed on a rotating basis and as instructed by the Home or Regional Manager
vacuuming and cleaning residents rooms, the corridors and all communal areas within the home to a high standard
ensuring that the furniture, fittings including furniture, fabric, and equipment are also cleaned and maintained to a high standard
being respectful of residents personal belongings and helping contribute to their upkeep / cleaning (e.g. furniture) and that any objects that are removed for cleaning are replaced in the same position.
ensuring the residents are safe whilst carrying out cleaning tasks.

Candidate Requirements

- Ability to recognise residents' rooms and belongings are personal and private
- To demonstrate safe practice
- Good communication skills
- Maintain a polite and courteous manner towards residents, staff and visitors to the home at all times
- Awareness of health and safety and manual handling

Employment Details

Employment Type: Permanent
Hours: Full Time (5 shifts per week)
Pay: £12.00 Hourly

Additional Information

Hours of work: 32.5 hours per week, 5 shifts per week (including working alternate weekends)
